Abstract
According to the particularity of grid environment, we took research in fault detection strategy in grid system on the base of Globus platform. Then, we put forward an adaptive fault detection algorithm. The adaptive algorithm could satisfy the diversity and dynamic of grid applications by providing them different level fault detection service basing on their requirements.
