Abstract
The prevalence of malnutrition especially of essential amino acid (EAA) is a significant concern in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and hemodialysis (HD) patients. The present study evaluates the efficacy of Amiyu® Granule (AG), a pharmaceutically manufactured oral EAA and histidine supplement, in the improvement of the nutritional indices of the ESRD and HD elderly patients (> 80-year-old).
