Abstract

The intelligent visual ship perceptual system based on cloud platform tends to improve the ship's identification and dispatching capabilities, so as to strengthen the safety and economy of ship navigation. Aiming at the problem of intelligent ship awareness is not enough, shipside calculation ability and ship-to-shore communications are inefficient, the cloud computing platform is presented to support the system to comprehensively process the video information captured by the camera and AIS (Automatic Identification System) information, for succeeding in realizing the target ship identification box selection, information tracking and matching functions. At the same time, it provides the landing cloud platform server interface for shore-based monitoring client and shipboard operator, which is helpful for shore-based auxiliary ship navigation.
