Objective This study aims to investigate the factors affecting the development of electronic health record (EHR) system and predict the future of this system in Iran. Methods: In this descriptive study, identification of the main factors for the development of HER and designing the future scenarios of this system was done using a questionnaire completed by 33 managers and experts of information technology in hospitals and medical universities in Guilan and Qazvin provinces of Iran. Data were analyzed in SPSS v. 22 and Expert Choice v. 11 applications. Results: Three dimensions and six criteria were determined to explain the HER development. Dimensions included: information content, information architecture, and information security. The criteria were: Manpower, hardware and software infrastructure, speed of access to health services, operating costs, not dependent on the internet, and comprehensiveness. Moreover, eight scaled scenarios were determined for the future of the EHR system. 背景:卫生信息系统提供了一个综合平台和卫生系统行为体之间的信息连接,不受时间和空间的限制。目的探讨影响伊朗电子健康档案(EHR)系统发展的因素,并对该系统的未来进行预测。方法:采用描述性研究方法,对伊朗桂兰省和加兹温省33名医院和医科大学的管理人员和信息技术专家进行问卷调查,确定影响HER发展的主要因素,并设计该系统的未来方案。数据在SPSS v. 22和Expert Choice v. 11应用程序中进行分析。结果:确定了三个维度和六个标准来解释HER的发展。包括的维度:信息内容、信息架构和信息安全。这些标准包括:人力、硬件和软件基础设施、获得医疗服务的速度、运营成本、不依赖互联网和全面性。此外,确定了未来EHR系统的8个规模情景。结论:伊朗HER系统的发展需要重视信息内容、体系结构和安全性。
