A decuplet of periapical cysts: A pilot study of case series.

Abstract

The radicular cyst has been classified as inflammatory cyst, as a consequence of pulpal necrosis following caries, with an associated periapical inflammatory response. A case series of 10 periapical cysts have been described in this article. We have also derived basic data from these cases to check for relevance of incidence of radicular cyst with age, its gender predilection, the common aetiological factor, and to rule out the common site and region of occurrence.
