Three species viz.; Grimmia orbicularis Bruch ex Wilson, G. pulvinata (Hedw.) Sm. and G. trichophylla Grev. are recorded in the study area. This study raised the total number of fully identified mosses known from Taif Province to 29 taxa belonging to 9 families. The three recorded species are described and illustrated for the first time from Saudi Arabia with information on their habitats, floristic elements and distribution.
