Abstract

In order to reveal the positive role of VR as an auxiliary teaching method in improving students’ spatial cognitive and experience transformation level, and then to explore whether learn’ types will affect VR intervention in architecture design teaching, research started based on the theory ‘cone of experience’ to establish a teaching evaluation system. Then, by comparing the two architectural design teaching experiments, the differences of each types of students using VR aided design methods are obtained, to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the influence mechanism of VR on different types of students, and analyze the causes of learners’ differences from the perspectives of ability level and gender.
