Abstract

The skin is the first organ that is badly affected by the emergence of free radicals, therefore antioxidant molecules are needed to capture the negative effects of free radicals. The use of antioxidants on the face is recommended in topical dosage forms. The use of peel-off gel masks from natural ingredients is useful for repairing and treating facial skin from skin problems. This review aims to examine, and compare the formulation of a peel-off gel mask as an antioxidant with good physical stability, which can be combined with active substances from plant extracts.
