The ramania plant (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) is a species from the Anacardiaceae family, with different names. The use of ramania plants (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) is still very limited, namely only as fruit. Empirically, ramania leaves (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) have the potential to control the wound healing process. The aim of this research was to determine the results of phytochemical screening and the antibacterial activity of 96% ethanol extract of Ramania leaves (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The research method uses the disc method with 4 series of 5% concentration; 10%; 15% and 20%, positive control chloramphenicol 30μg/disc, and negative control DMSO 0.1%. The results of this study showed that the 96% ethanol extract of Ramania leaves (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) was positive for containing alkoloids, flavonoids, steroids, saponins and tannins using the maceration method using 96% ethanol solvent and had an extract yield of 8.54%. Antibacterial activity test at concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% with results and inhibition zone categories of 1,925 mm (weak), 3,355 mm (weak), and 4,737 mm (weak) and 5,775 mm (medium) respectively. The conclusion of the research shows that ethanol extract from 96% ramania leaves (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.

Jawer Kotok Leaves (Plectranthus scutellarioides (L.) R.Br.) is a native Indonesian plant that has been scientifically proven to have anti-inflammatory properties, especially in the fields of ethnopharmacognosy and pharmacology. Based on previous studies, Jawer Kotok Leaves has excellent potential in helping heal oedema wounds on the soles of the feet of male white rats (Ratus norwegicus) wistar strain induced by carrageenan. To optimize the potential of Jawer Kotok Leaves and increase the use of traditional medicine among the community, a practical preparation in the form of instant granules is made. Instant granule preparations have several advantages, namely that they can be packaged in one unit dose, have good flow properties, are easy to swallow, remain stable in hot or cold water, dissolve quickly and are easily combined with dyes, flavors, and other pharmaceutical ingredients so that they are easily accepted by consumers. To get the best formula that can be accepted by consumers, this study made 4 variations of the formula. One of the problems faced is the chewy taste of jawer kotok leaf extract, therefore in this study the effect of sodium chloride as a chewy taste remover on the instant granule formula of standardized extract of jawer kotok leaves (Plectranthus scutellarioides (L.) R.Br.) on the panelists' favorite response. The parameters seen are texture, color, taste and aroma. The material used is ethanol extract that has been standardized. Based on statistical tests that have been carried out, the addition of NaCl does not provide a significant difference to the reduction of astringent taste in instant granules of jawer kotok leaves. The best formula is Formula 3 because it has good physical quality and gives the most "like" response compared to other formulas. The components of formula 3 consisted of viscous extract 16.8%, PVP 4%, lactose 56.5%, erythritol 10%, stevia glycoside 2.5%, xanthan gum 0.2% and maltodextrin 10%.

The skin is the outermost part of the body that is susceptible to bacterial infection. Therefore the skin requires a preparation that effectively kills bacteria such as liquid soap. Bandotan leaves are plants that have been known to contain antibacterial properties. The physical properties of liquid soap are affected by the HPMC and castor oil used. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of varying the concentration of HPMC and castor oil needed on the characteristics of the 96% ethanol extract liquid soap formula of Bandotan leaves (Ageratum conyzoides L) and to determine the optimal composition of castor oil and HPMC in the optimum formula for 96% ethanol extract liquid soap. Bandotan leaves (Ageratum conyzoides L) using a factorial design method. This research uses bandotan leaf extract, which is made through the maceration extraction method using 96% ethanol solvent, with the optimum formula obtained using the factorial design method and statistical tests using the SPPS one sample t test. The statistical test results have a sig value <0.05, namely 0.004 for PH, 0.035 foam power and 0.045 Viscosity, so it can be concluded that variations in the concentration of HPMC and castor oil affect the characteristics of the liquid soap formula of 96% ethanol extract of bandotan leaves.
