Abstract
This paper summarizes existing anticoagulants mainly from synthesis methods perspective. It covers traditional anticoagulants such as low molecular weight heparins, warfarin, as well as new anticoagulants like argatroban, rivaroxaban, apixaban and direct thrombin inhibitors dabigatran etexilate.
