Abstract
Stemonitis axifera var. smithii (Macbride) Hagelstein and S. herbatica Peck were discovered on cow dung in northern Taiwan. This is the first report of fimicolous Myxomycetes from Taiwan, and they are discovered for the first time in the world from the fimicolous habitat.
