The elemental composition was studied by atomic absorption spectrography with photographic registration. The research was conducted at the premises of STC “Institute of Single Crystals” of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkiv).\nResults and discussion. The results of the research obtained show that the samples of common domestic types of the medicinal plant raw material studied contain at least 19 chemical elements; potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus predominate among them.\nConclusions. Abstract

Aim. To determine the elemental composition of common domestic types of the medicinal plant raw material, such as Sophora japonica flower buds, Crataegus sanguinea leaves and flowers, Astragalus dasyanthus herb, Mentha piperita leaves, Arctium lappa roots.
