Abstract

The effects of impurity on the growth of crystal have been the reported by many investigators. In the present study, the effect of small amount of zinc in the solution of crystallization of struvite-K crystals was studied using the SEM, FTIR and EDAX spectroscopic techniques. It was found that, the concentration and volume of zinc ions transform the morphology of struvite-K crystals.
