The dog presented with a complaint of bloody urination had a noticeable growth on the penis. There was high cellularity of neoplastic squamous cells admixed numerous neutrophils and keratin within the background upon cytological evaluation. Abstract
This report describes the first case of penile squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in a Boerboel from our environment while emphasizing the importance of cytology as a quick and reliable diagnostic tool in clinical setting. The dog presented with a complaint of bloody urination had a noticeable growth on the penis.
