Abstract
A label-free cytometry technique based on laser light scattering is presented as an alternative to conventional flow cytometry using fluorescent or magnetic markers. Single-cell light scattering patterns are used as fingerprints for cell identification. Blood cells and neuroblastoma cells have been used as experimental case studies.
