Knowledge is one of the factors that shape a person's behavior. School students have not fully implemented PHBS in schools. 50.5% of respondents have behaved well in PHBS and 49.5% still behave badly towards PHBS (Hendrawati et al., 2020). There was an increase in knowledge of 1.45 the mean value of the results of the pre and post tests carried out on 127 students of Mahfilud Duror Jelbuk Islamic Middle School (Wijayanti et al., 2017). This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of the students of SMPN 265 Jakarta about PHBS. Knowledge is measured through a questionnaire given before and after PHBS counseling. The research respondents were all students of SMPN 265 Jakarta who participated in the PHBS counseling as many as 154 people. This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach and a cross sectional research design. Data analysis used dependent t test. The results showed that respondents who had good knowledge prior to counseling were 58.4% while respondents who had good knowledge after counseling were 94.8%. The results of the pre test showed an average knowledge of 7.74 while the results of the post test showed an increase with an average knowledge of 9.39 with a p value of 0.000 so that it was concluded that there was a significant difference between knowledge before counseling and after counseling.
