The data collection adopted a scanning attitude based on the information available on the Lattes Platform. For statistical analysis, SPSS statistics and Microsoft Excel software were used. For the qualitative analysis, the word cloud visual resource was used. Abstract

The aim of this article is to investigate the universe of stricto sensu postgraduate studies in Tourism in Brazil based on the courses currently offered and on the profile of professors in the scope of the programs to which they belong.
