In 18 patients with stable fractures of shin bones, the fracture was repositioned and fixed with a plaster cast. 31 patients with unstable fractures underwent bypass polysynostosis after a closed manual reposition of a fracture of shin bones with a plaster cast. Osteosynthesis with elastic nails (TEN) was performed in 32 patients after closed reposition. 21 patients were treated with extra-focal transosseous osteosynthesis.
