Lastly, Group VI was treated with black seed oil at dose of 150 mg/kg body weight; for 14 days. The results revealed an increase in 5I-nucleotidase and PACP activities with concomitant decrease of Δ5-3β-HSD, Δ5-17β-HSD and LDH activities in rats induced with haloperidol, followed by systemic oxidative damage and adverse histopathological changes in germinal epithelial cells. Abstract

Haloperidol is basically employed in combating mental disorder but its usage is controlled because of its adverse effects in other tissues.
