The aim of this research were to investigate the antimicrobial activity of extract and its fractions of L. camara leaves in against . Extract was prepared by maceration in ethanol (96%) then fractionated using n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Antimicrobial activity was carried out using agar difussion method and antioxidant activity was carried out using DPPH radical scavenging activity assay. Concentration of extract and fraction tested were 12,5 ?g/mL; 25 ?g/mL; 50 ?g/mL; and 100 ?g/mL. The result showed that extract and fraction of L. camara leaves exhibit strong antibacterial activity against Gram positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus), weak inhibition against Gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli), and and were not able to inhibit the growth of Candida albicans. The ethanolic extract of L. camara leaves and its fractions had antioxidant activity. 马鞭草是马鞭草科的药用植物。它被广泛用作治疗各种健康问题的传统药物。但是没有关于生长在印度尼西亚的L. camara及其分支的潜在活性的报道。本研究旨在研究山梨叶提取物及其组分对抗真菌的抑菌活性。提取液在96%乙醇中浸渍,然后用正己烷和乙酸乙酯进行分馏。用琼脂扩散法测定其抗菌活性,用DPPH自由基清除法测定其抗氧化活性。提取液和馏分的检测浓度分别为12.5 g/mL;25克/毫升;50 g / mL;100g /mL。结果表明,山茱萸叶提取物和部位对革兰氏阳性菌(枯草芽孢杆菌、金黄色葡萄球菌)有较强的抑菌活性,对革兰氏阴性菌(大肠杆菌)有较弱的抑菌活性,对白色念珠菌的生长没有抑制作用。枸杞叶乙醇提取物及其组分具有抗氧化活性。乙醇提取物对DPPH自由基的IC50值为8.95 g / mL。
