Data was obtained through questionnaire survey with competent managers of HEIs (N = 76). The study shows that the managers of the monitored HEIs consider collaboration with the nonacademic sphere to be very important. It is perceived to be more important and developed to a larger extent at the national level. Most often it is developed in the form of practical training, internships, and field trips for students. Abstract
