The frequency converter is such device, which generates the variable frequency. In this paper, the vector control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor fed by a frequency converter is modelled and simulated by using PI controller and Fuzzy controller, one of the intelligent methods used in electric drives. Waveforms derived from the simulation of the vector control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor fed a frequency converter are examined comparatively for PI and Fuzzy Controllers.
