Chinese Journal of Computational Physics, founded in 1984, is a bimonthly journal published in English and Chinese. It is a comprehensive Chinese academic journal in the discipline of Computational Physics under the supervision of China Association for Science and Technology, sponsored by China Nuclear Society, and undertaken by Beijing Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics, and it is the earliest academic journal of Computational Physics in China and one of the earliest four journals in the field of Computational Physics in the world.
Chinese Journal of Computational Physics was founded on the application of Yu Min, winner of the Order of the Republic and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and approved by Deng Jiaxian, Founder of the Two Bombs and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and it is a representative journal of the discipline of Computational Physics in China as well as an important journal in the natural sciences journals in China. Adhering to the tenet of fully reflecting the cutting-edge achievements in the discipline of computational physics, promoting academic exchanges at home and abroad, and advancing the development of computational physics, the journal strives to serve the national economy, national defence construction, and scientific and technological modernization. All physics-related fields engaged in physical modelling and computational methods, and the application of advanced computers to obtain the results of the work, are covered by this journal.
