The chromatographic separation was achieved employing an isocratic system with a mobile phase including trifluoroacetic acid-water-acetonitrile (0.01:95:5) measured at a flow rate of 1 mL/min using a diode array detector (DAD). The lycorine content in the bulbs during the flowering and fruiting seasons was detected as 0.01576 and 0.02351 %, respectively.
