The sprayer was calibrated to deliver 10 gal/acre at 50 psi through TX-8 hollowcone nozzles on a 19-inch spacing. Plots were 9, 38-inch rows, 75 ft long arranged in a RCB design with 4 replications and a skip row between plots to discourage boll weevil movement between plots. Boll weevil ratings were made 4-5 DAT by examining 25 squares/plot for boll weevil damage. Bollworms were controlled using Bolstar 6 EC at 1.0 (AI)/acre in all plots.
