Ralph Seal Paffenbarger, Jr, M.D.; Dr.P.H.; D.Sc.,h.c. was born on October 21, 1922 in Columbus, Ohio; he died on July 9, 2007 from congestive heart failure in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
