Abstract

Natural disasters are the result of the interaction between physical impact and vulnerability of peopleand the environment. Flood risk is a product of the region's exposure to the risk of natural disasters. Climateprojections indicate an increased risk of floods in the future and, therefore, an increased risk of internal floodspredicted by climate change.
