Additionally, single regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, and bootstrapping-based mediating effect verification were performed.Results: The hedonic participation motive of leisure activities had a significant effect on physical confidence and appearance management attitude. However, the practical participation motive had no significant effect. Moreover, the mediating role of physical confidence in the path of hedonic participation motivation on appearance management attitude was verified. Finally, the appearance management attitude had a significant positive relationship with all appearance management behavior.Conclusion: This study is academically significant in that it explores the relationship between leisure activities and beauty in the era of super-aging, where successful aging has become increasingly important. Abstract
