Abstract
The peels of ripe mango (mangnifera indica) fruits were hydrolyzed with 4.5M hydrochloric acid solution and distilled. The distillates were tested for furfural using volumetric, UV/visible and IR spectroscopic methods in addition to other physicochemical parameters.
