Abstract
The results of vacuum photodiode detector (VPD) testing on the T-10 tokamak proposed for plasma tomography in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor are described. It was shown that the VPD signal depends mainly on the plasma electron density and slightly depends on the plasma electron temperature; therefore it can be used for investigations into plasma density perturbation.
