Abstract

Various aspects of the extrusion-spheronisation technique as one of the most popular pellets production methods was considered in this review. The advantages of extrusion-spheronization in comparison with other methods are the ability to include high-dose pharmaceutical substances, combine two or more substances, as well as change the physical characteristics of initial material.
