Conclusion. Over the years of implementation of health development programs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, there has been a positive trend in indicators that characterize the health of the population, which in turn contributes to improving the quality and increasing the life expectancy of the country's population. Basic health indicators have been improved and health funding has been increased. However, despite these results, life expectancy and funding remain low compared to other countries. Abstract

The aim: evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented state programs in the field of healthcare in Kazakhstan. Methods. The paper analyzes 4 state programs for the development of the healthcare system implemented in the years of independence of Kazakhstan and describes preliminary data on the program - "State Program for the Development of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025". Results. The journal publishes the following types of contribution: 1) Peer-reviewed original research articles and critical or analytical reviews in any area of social public health. These papers may be up to 3,500 words excluding abstract, tables, and references. Papers below this limit are preferred. 2) Peer-reviewed short reports of research findings on topical issues or published articles of between 2000 and 4000 words. 3) Brief communications, and commentaries debating on particular areas of focus, and published alongside, selected articles. 4) Special Issues bringing together collections of papers on a particular theme, and usually guest edited. 5) Editorial that flags critical issues of public health debate for policy, program and scientific consumption or further debate
