Abstract
This paper presents a differentially-driven rectifier for enhanced RF power harvesting. Based on a traditional one-fed rectifier, a differentially-driven rectifier is designed, whose RF-to-DC power conversion efficiency (PCE) is roughly the same as that of the traditional one. The performance of the differentially-driven rectifier is verified by both simulation and measurement results. The measured RF-to-DC PCE of the proposed differentially-driven rectifier achieves its maximum value of 73.9% when the input power level is 9.4 dBm.
