Abstract
From the view of industrial case, Most of the loads have a low power factor and inductive. This low power factor(LPF) allows the current to rise and resulting in additional losses of active power. Our research aims in developing a system with microcontroller which automatically corrects the power factor by reducing the apparent power using capacitors bank. Moreover, the system helps in monitoring power factor of industrial loads on PC in wireless manner. When the inductive load increase, the microcontroller will calculate PWM signal fed to it and then turns on the capacitors according to the calculation. The result of the power factor also the main objective is to ensure the continuous preservation of the power system around unit factor. If the power factor is low then capacitor bank's adjusts the whole system.
