Twenty indicators are recognized from extant halal literature of measurement of halal logistics. The twenty indicators can be divided into seven mandatory indicators (may related to the halal concept in Syariah law) and 13 non-mandatory indicators that refer to the cleanliness and hygiene of the product produced (may relate to toyyiban in Syariah law). The mandatory indicators should have a value of priority weight equal to one.
