We are fortunate in this special issue to have contributions from two members of the original editorial board, Col McCowan and Norman Amundson. Abstract
An editorial board comprises eminent people in the journal ’ s fi eld whose role is to support the editor and where appropriate, provide advice. Editorial board members can promote the journal through their networks. An important role of editorial board members is to peer review manuscripts submitted to the journal.
