Abstract

Hybrid photovoltaic/thermal PV/T solar systems are used to convert solar energy into electricity and heat power. The integration of photovoltaic modules with thermals collectors can produce higher temperatures in the photovoltaic module and decrease the efficiency of PVT collectors. Thus, the optimization of hybrid PV / T panels is necessary to improve the overall efficiency of the system. In this work, a mathematical model, describing the thermal, electrical and mechanical flow is developed to predict the variables of the system.
