Abstract
PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) which provides execution environment for applications deployed in cloud is a key technology of cloud computing. However, to meet various requirements of different users on software platform under changing application environment, it's crucial to design and develop extensible, customizable and dynamic PaaS systems. In this paper, we analyze the software requirements of PaaS. Then a PaaS system architecture using R-OSGi as software foundation is designed.
