Abstract

This work presents an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Algorithm using for Energy Management devoted to fulfill the energy demand of an on grid PV home with a backup located in Bou-Ismail (Algeria). To satisfy energy needs of the house, the energy management strategy used relies mainly on a local PV production. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm has been evaluated for a favorable week in July 2018 and an unfavorable week in January 2018 basing on the weather conditions of the Bou- Ismail location. The results show that the proposed ANN algorithm can reduce the energy consumption of the home without affecting customer comforts.
