The specimens with 30% of residues presented increase in the mechanical properties of compression and traction by diametral compression, with a 44% increase and 28%, respectively, in relation to concrete without residue. The morphological tests of Optical Microscopy (OM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) demonstrated that the red ceramics obtained good dispersion and adhesion in the concrete components, besides that the clay composition of the residue contributed to fill the voids. Construction waste accounts for up to 2/3 of the solid waste generated, resulting in high management costs for the public administration and few deposition areas.
