Abstract 2,4,5-Trisubstituted oxazoles were prepared via a tandem Passerini three-component coupling/Staudinger/aza-Wittig/isomerization reaction in one-pot fashion, starting from easily accessible α-azidocinnamaldehydes, acids, isocyanide and triphenylphosphine.
