The Ayurved practitioners traditionally used the extract of the plant as a medicine in treatment of a variety of diseases like cardio vascular, hyper tension, sexual aggression, mental and respiration disorder, goitre, scorpion bite etc. Its utility in medical field can’t be ignored in view of their competitive values and rate of absorption. The promising results of natural products and their growing demand nationwide cannot be over looked in cosmetic industries. Abstract
