Pediatric Skull Base Fractures. Part 1: Anatomy, Diagnosis, Classifications

Abstract

В статье приводится обзор отечественной и зарубежной литературы, описывающий современные подходы в диагностике переломов основания черепа и их осложнений. Уделяется внимание анатомо-физиологическим особенностям структур основания черепа у пациентов детского возраста, взаимосвязи клинической картины и анатомических данных. Изложены основные принципы классификации переломов основания черепа в зависимости от локализации и протяженности линии перелома, повреждений структур параназальных синусов и наличия ликвореи. The article provides a review of domestic and foreign literature describing modern approaches in the diagnosis of fractures of the skull base and their complications. Attention is paid to the anatomical and physiological features of the structures of the skull base in children’s patients, the relationship of the clinical picture and anatomical data. The basic principles of classification of fractures of the base of the skull depending on the localization and extent of the fracture line, damage to the structures of the paranasal sinuses and the presence of liquorrhea are described.
