Abstract

Faulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS) is a Web-based resource containing industry reports that cover a wide range of information technology (IT) topics written for an academic audience. Available reports include products, standards, company profiles, and marketplace reports. The site is organized to allow browsing by topic or report type as well as searching.Reports are plainly written and utilize references to trade publications and news sources. They are routinely updated, and currency appears to be one of FAITS's strengths. Although it lags behind in expected user interface conventions, FAITS provides useful and timely reporting that students can use to inform scholarship and faculty to drive curriculum choices.
