Abstract
Pharmacy policy should conceptualize a practice that is both attainable and stable. To attain consistency, predictability, and effectiveness in development and implementation of pharmacy practice innovations, a framework is required. Pharmacist embeddedness (PE) supports the uptake of innovations, the creation of new roles, and guides practice innovation.
