Abstract

The annual weedy grass Cynodondactylon (L.) Pers. Belonging to the family Poaceae is one of the tenth fortunate plants in ayurveda’s ‘Dasapushpam’ and ‘Navgaraha’ groups. Cynodondactylon (L.) Pers. has a wide range of therapeutic uses. The species is a natural resource because it grows as a weed. An overview on Cynodondactylon (L.) Pers. is undertaken with the goal of providing all the relevant information regarding this grass.
