Abstract

The process of flocculation of a calcium-magnesium solid phase formed in an aqueous-salt solution with the introduction of calcium-containing precipitants using polyacrylamide, cationic and anionic acrylamide copolymers was studied. With the introduction of polymers, an increase in the dispersion settling rate was observed in the concentration range of 0.5–3.0 mg/g, to a greater extent for the anionic copolymer.
