Abstract
Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease with characteristic changes in the epidermis that resembles unsuppressed wound healing due to excessive hyperproliferation of keratinocytes. The keratinocyte hyperproliferation is also accompanied by abnormal differentiation of cells. It is not clear how much keratinocytes contribute to disease pathology.
