Abstract

Mesoporous silica with cubic structure, MCM-48, was synthesized using Ludox HS-40 and cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a source of silica and template, respectively. The material obtained was used to adsorb sulfamethoxazole (SMX).
