Interruption of transmission of non-enveloped viruses in the population without the use of ethanol-containing antiseptics cannot be guaranteed. Abstract
Recently, outbreaks of infectious diseases caused by various viruses have become more frequent in the world. Literature data of recent years show that antiseptics based only on propanol-1 and propanol-2 are not effective against infections caused by non-enveloped viruses. Antiseptics based on ethyl alcohol have a wide spectrum of virucidal action, including against non-enveloped viruses.
